All or Nothing, Just Make a List

This cat never fails to crack

It seems like in my life that nothing is going on, or 107 things are going on at once.

I guess that is better than 107 things going on at ALL times.

I have been busy getting everything ready for when my daughter, son-n-law and their dog returns from
Japan next week. They have been living over there for 3 long long long years. I am so excited to have them back in the states soon!

Along with my home business, we have also been tackling some other decisions that need to be made rather soon as well as getting ready to set up a website for my parents. The website thing I don't mind. I find it fun and challenging and I like fun and challenging.

So, a few things that I have learned to help are:
1. Write down a to-do list
2. Mark things off the to-do list as you do them, (something about that makes you feel you're accomplishing something). Put a smiley face after each one.
3.Mark down the hard things first to get them out of the way. (do happy dance)
4. Don't lose your to-do list or you'll have to make another one.
5. See if any family members would like to do anything that is on the to-do list.
6. Know that you if do it yourself, it's actually easier and often, you end up RE-doing it anyway.
7. At this point, you have done at least half of what was on your list.  Go ahead and throw it away because you just realized that you could add about 10 more things, and you're really sick of looking at that list.

There ya go!  It all seems to work itself out one way or the other.
*Note: there will always be stress. At least do half of the list and keep doing the happy dance.

Cell Phone Use

This is funny and also not funny.
It's funny in that we can all relate to this.
It's not funny when we are experiencing it!

I think it may be to the point that in schools, they are going to need to add an additional class that is mandatory. English, History, Math, and Cell Phone Use!
